Kona Company is a digital strategy firm located in the technology center of Evanston. We design and develop website, mobile applications and web marketing services. We are currently looking for a rock star to add to our team: a talented Junior Web Developer with a passion for all things digital. The ideal candidate will have prior web development experience. 1-3 years, and a desire to learn. We offer flexibility for the right candidate and will consider all qualified individuals.
Junior Developer Position Description:
-Building / assisting Sr. Developers with back end services using languages like as C#, and frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC.
-Integrate with external systems, such as databases, payment processing systems, CRMs, email delivery and other web services
-Working with designers to create responsive front end technologies like HTML5/CSS3 and jQuery, among others
-Implement and customize Content Management systems, specifically WordPress
– Performing maintenance, updates and upgrades to existing systems
-Providing assistance in from scratch, custom development projects
-Evaluating clients’ websites to understand online goals and objectives
-Monitoring and testing website performance including speed, cross browser compatibility and usage on mobile devices
– Assisting in development of mobile first properties, including iOS applications etc.
-Continual learning, research and training on emerging technologies to ensure the best solutions are being implemented on projects
